Gas price has reached all time heigh, and any extra miles you can get from your vechicle is much appreciated. Infact you can run extra 2-3 miles by being carefull about these stuffs.

• Check your speed. Don't drive too harsh and maintain a constant speed.


• Check Tire Pressure: If your tire is not inflatted it can drag your car reducing the fual efficiency. In fact you can improve the efficiency by increasing the tire pressure by 1 or 2 point than manufacturer recommented rate. Check your car manual for the recommented tire pressure.


• Check and replace your air filter : Your car engine needs freah air to run properly. Poor air intake can reduce the efficiency.


• Watch your road : If you accelerate to speed then have to brake right away, that's wasted fuel.


• Empty your trunk: Lighter your vechicle, more efficient it is going to be. Every one tends to carry unwated stuff in your trunk.


• Use the smallest possible vechicle. If you are planning to go all alone, take your 2 wheeler or economy car instead of 6 wheel drive SUV.
